*We do not advertise, sell or supply any alcohol/liquor and do not hold a liquor licence. We are solely focused on gifts and homewares.

Availability:

There is unlikely to be any problems supplying your order - If there is any problem with supply, we will contact you. Sometimes there may be updates to product lines and the product will be slightly different to the products pictured on this website for example.

Feel free to ask when we are next getting an item back in stock if you are interested - sometimes we will be sold out of certain items.

Payment types accepted:

Visa, MasterCard, Debit Card. We do not accept cash payments as Savoir Vivre is an online only shop. 

Signature required on all shipping

All orders that are sent by courier require a proof of delivery signature. The signature is automatically added to all shipping costs as this helps protect valuable items and gifts from being stolen or lost. If you would like to remove the signature you can untick signature required when the tracking details come through with the courier company. We cannot accept any liability if a parcel goes missing while with the courier. 

If you are not home to sign, the courier will leave a delivery card advising you where the shipment can be collected from in your area. Some couriers offer another delivery time for your convenience. Please check your order for any damage or missing items before signing for the package. If the item/s are damaged you may be able to seek compensation or replacement from the courier company (damages must be reported within 14 days). We can help you make this claim. 

GST on products and shipping cost calculation:

All prices on the website include GST of 15%. Shipping includes GST of 15% and is calculated at the checkout based on the weight of your total order. Savoir Vivre uses Go Sweet Spot as the shipping supplier. They deliver throughout New Zealand and help us give you the best shipping cost given your location. Orders within the Manawatu area are offered at a cheaper rate compared to general North Island shipping costs as this reflects local area shipping charges. 

Freight and shipping costs on the website may be amended from time to time due to the fluctuating nature in shipping/freight costs throughout NZ and across suppliers. Large or bulky items may have an added surcharge at checkout.

Pick up orders:

We are now offering free contactless pick up of items in the Awapuni, Palmerston North area Monday to Friday after 5pm. Details will be provided after your order is received or you can contact us prior. Standard shipping is also available within the Palmerston North/ Manawatu Area if this is more convenient. Locals are offered cheaper shipping rates.

Cookies are used on this site to track the contents of your shopping cart, to ensure accurate delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details. Cookies are used once you are logged on or are on the website. If you do not want cookies on, you can turn off cookies within your browser by going to:

If goods are faulty or not up to quality standards, we will provide customers with the right to a repair, replacement or a refund.

Savoir Vivre also follows and adheres to the Fair Trading Act 1986.

The Fair Trading Act 1986 protects customer from being misled. This applies to all sales, products, goods and promotions, as well as pricing, safety standards, product availability, where a product is sourced form and details about the product.

Order cancellations

We can only accept an order cancellation if the item has not been shipped out to you/picked up by the courier. Please get in contact as soon as possible as the order will be shipped out quickly after your order is placed. Savoir Vivre reserves the right to retain a 10% handling fee for cancelling an order (to cover costs of outer packaging and shipping with the courier company if necessary). Once the order is in the shipping process (out with the courier) we are unable to stop it - You would then need to return the parcel in the original condition at your own cost and ask for a refund or exchange.
